Equal Angles

Steel angles are typically made from roll-formed, mild steel and are formed by bending a piece of steel into an angle so that it forms an
‘L’-shape, with a 90̊ , perpendicular angle. The legs of an equal angle’s ‘L’ are equal in size. Equal angles are known as angle irons, or
L-brackets.
Product application
Angles are typically used as reinforcement, especially on surface edges, to help surfaces hold their shape, which helps curb damage or
weather erosion to structures. Angles also offer support where structures would otherwise not be strong enough able to handle the weight
placed on them.
